QSI International School of Chengdu is an amazing community of learners. We offer a rigorous, yet personalized approach to learning, which challenges our students to be their best. Students aged 3 through secondary graduation will be prepared to transfer back to their home country or gain acceptance into one of the world’s premier universities.

We are a non-profit educational institution offering an American curriculum. QSI Chengdu is accredited by Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges, which ensures that universities recognize the rigor of the academic program.  Advanced Placement courses and the AP Capstone diploma are available to secondary students and provide the external validation that is required of many non-American Universities. Our students benefit from our mastery learning philosophy at all stages of their educational journey; we provide additional time and assistance to complete course work or allow students to push ahead- depending on their strengths.  Teachers, students, and parents work together monitoring student progress and growth, ensuring success for all.

Along with academic rigor, our Empower program provides our students will learning experiences that will enhance their lives outside of the classroom. This program specifically teaches our Success Orientations, provides guidance and support for students’ social and emotional needs, and facilitates discussion to ensure students always feel safe.  Success Orientations, Kindness and Politeness, Trustworthiness, Group Interaction, Independent Endeavor, Aesthetic Appreciation, Concern for Others, and Responsibility are built into both the Empower program and our daily teaching. Our students have opportunities to learn to care for one another, with both a local and global perspective. We also provide time for students of all ages to explore their creativity through technology, art, and music. After school activities are designed to complement the school environment, with a wide variety of options from sports to academic clubs to photography.
